It seems we have a tradition at Kdog: once a year, either Philip or I gets to photograph Doug with his family. (And then he would shoot our family, only I haven't schedule it, yet. Oops.) Last year, as you may recall, we photographed them in the Crossroads, which was such a fun shoot. Their daughter ("X") is unbelievably beautiful and full of life. This year was interesting. As with all 5-year-olds, you just never know what you're going to get. Plus, we had a time crunch, and had to complete our session within 45 minutes. EEKS! Game on.
It's fun to watch my business partner be in the same position our clients are in: wondering if I'm getting anything while their child is ignoring me, turning her back to me, running past me at the (seemingly) speed of light. It's a challenge, I'll say. But fun. Really fun.
And this is why I do what I do:
These people, these images make me very happy. This is why I do what I do.
:-)
Seeing these pictures of you guys makes us miss you!! Can't wait til all the Hunan princesses can get together again! Love you! Angie
